Chris McKenzie

Chris is passionate about co-producing solutions alongside people who draw on support and developing approaches that empower people and communities.

Chris is an experienced senior leader at Director level working in Local Government, in particular working in Adult Social Care and the wider health and social care system partnerships.

A qualified programme manager, Chris has most recently had significant experience of delivering system change in health and social care, which includes introducing and embedding strengths-based approaches, the creation of locality / place-based community support models and the review and redesign of multi-agency pathways. He ensures a focus upon co production and engagement of those who access services as a member of the local community is at the heart of any redesign or development.

Chris has strong operational management experience, including the direction of resources to deliver statutory responsibilities within available budgets, and has excellent data analytical skills.

Chris recently joined the Inspired Purpose Network after working with the team to establish a new health, social care and community Learning Disability and Autism Partnership Collaborative as part of the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board. This approach was built on the principles of collaboration, inclusivity and shared purpose, values which are core to Chris’ approach
